Very sensitive skin?

im allergic to most moisturisers, even ones for sensitive skin





even allergic to baby lotion





my skin is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy dry





any help?

Maybe you should get recommendations from your dermatologist and ask if you should be using a type of special moistureizer for your skin type. Another thing is maybe its just the brands your using. One time i used a 99 cent store cleanser and my skin became very irritated and red and flakey it was horrible.
Reply:did you try ecurin? my kids have ecezma, and I have psoriosis, and it's gentle enough for both. It's a very thick but very effective lotion/cream for sensitive skin, and it doesn't have any fragrances as an ingredient.


If you tried this and it does the same thing, I'd then reccomend using hydocortizone cream.(you should be able to find it in a drug store, if not, then ask your doc for a prescription of it). My son has extremely dry skin on his face to the point where it flakes, and my doc prescribed this for him, and after two weeks, the skin on his face became normal skin. I'd reccomend you try the 1% form and use it for 2 weeks and see if this helps.


If neither of these work, I'd consult my doc., because it might be an indicator to something else, something more severe.


Oh, and another tip?-drink lots of water. If your dehydrated,.it shows in your skin,which results in overly dry skin. No,sodas and juices don't count towards your water intake-I mean actual H2O.
