As my subject line says I'm 28, with sensitive skin, am acne prone, with combo skin and chapped cheeks...the acne prone and combo skin I've started to get covered...the chapped cheeks? Hurt, flake, and are pink. I've been using some cetaphil daily facial moisturizer with spf 15. It burns. And a Mario Badescu lotion with spf 17 which sorta burns...barely. Out of the 2, the Mario Badescu works better, but I don't have a lot...it's a sample. Anything else out there I could try?

if it burns, it will not help the chapped go away... use an oatmeal %26amp; vitamin E lotion until it is better
take a vitamin A supplement daily too, its great for your skin!
Reply:Try using the proactive solution's three step program. It sounds like you are trying too hard to clean your skin and are drying it out. If you use the proactive's three step program for at least 30 days religiously, you will not believe the difference. It is the only thing that worked for me.
Reply:Vaseline lotion does wonders for me doesnt burn and last longer than most stuff. plus it doesnt smell bad like the rest
Reply:hey...
don't use the artificial staff get the natural!!
Get some lettuce, tomatoes and all spice and blend it!
And this is the best combo!
Try it you will thank me for sure!
Reply:Sounds like you have acne rosacea. See a dermatologist for a prescription medication that will help with the condition. Make sure you use a good quality, gentle moisturizer like Cetaphil - but you may want to avoid the sunscreen until your skin calms down - some people have sensitivities and/or allergies to Parsol, which I believe is the sunscreen in Cetaphil. Maybe try the Cetaphil cream instead, especially on your cheeks. Once your skin isn't so inflamed, the sunscreen won't burn as much.
Reply:The first thing you should try to do is to get off the cetaphil moisturizer. It seems like that it's too harsh for your skin and is not moisturizing enough. You should definitely try The Body Shop's Aloe Day Cream. The aloe like is made specifically for sensitive skin and aloe is also VERY hydrating. It won't irritate your skin, but it will leave your skin extremely moisturized. Since you have combination skin, only apply the cream on the areas where your skin is dry. If not, a good alternative is aveeno ultra calming cream, but theyre both around 14 bucks, so I'd go for the aloe since it will last a lot longer!
Reply:Well I also have sensetive skin and have been fighting it for seven years, I have found that benzel proxide and sulfer active ingreadents just dried up my skin and made my acne worse avoid them the best active ingrediants are tea tree oil and syclaicacid. Murad is the product I use and it works great!! although it's kind of expensive, but totally worth it, they have everything you could possibly need for skin care!!
