I've got really sensitive skin that dries out very easily. I can't use any products with benzol peroxide in them, including proactiv. Does anyone have any acne treatments that works for very sensitive skin? I appreciate everyones help :)
Acne treatment for sensitive skin?
i have very very sensitive skin, I can't use benzoyl peroxide, or salylic acid, which is in almost every product for treating acne....I use either oil of olay sensitive skin cleanser or cetaphil cleanser, then if my skin is breaking out, I just put a little rubbing alcohal on the area to dry it out...try not touching your face and make sure it is the last thing you wash in the shower! Make sure you use non-scented, non comedogenic, oil-free, etc products, cuz all that stuff can cause breakouts.
Reply:For sensitive skin I highly recommend that you try the zenmed derma cleanse system.

Reply:try tips on treating acne and skincare on this site
Reply:u better go to dermatologist, dangerous to try any product randomly
Reply:wash ur face free of dust and dirt 2 to 3 times and watever happens don't touch the acne and give it time to vanish.though it takes longer now but its better to have ur face free of scars .
Reply:buy Neutrogena Oil-Free Cream Cleanser. you can get it a you local food store.it work for me
Reply:I am also allergic to benzol peroxide. I use "Clean%26amp;Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin" for cleansing. It is an oil-free formula that gently removes dirt, oil, and makeup. For acne I use Clean%26amp;Clear Oil-Free Continuous Control Acne Wash. It treats and helps prevent breakouts. It contains salicylic acid, so try a small sample before using it all over your face to see if you have an allergic reaction to it. Also, do not use the products right after each other. I use the acne wash in the morning and the facial cleanser in the afternoon/night. You can buy both of these products at WalMart or your local drugstore.
Reply:I have suffered acne so much as many of you have had.
I had tried everything such as pills, crème, lotion, those are made by brand name companies, but I was so stressed because they didn’t work.
One day, I knew aloe is good to treating acne, and one of my Korean friends told me of a product called Aloe Enne from Namyang Aloe.
I tried it several weeks, and I am so pleased about the result.
After cleaning up my face, I put it on my face, and it feels like my skin gets much moist and healthier. I think aloe really works.
So I hope you have the good skin too.
Reply:You might want to see you Doctor about the acne problem. I did myself and found out I had a high prolactin rate which caused more male hormones to generate causing the acne outbreaks. internal medicine would be best for you since you have sensitive skin.
Reply:If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Reply:I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/
that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
