Sensitive skin below eyes and on the nose! Solution?

Why is the skin below my eyes (on top of the cheekbones) and on my nose so ultra-sensitive?

Whenever I sweat, while exercising or playing any sport, the continuous band of skin just below my eyes and on my nose burns like hell due to sweat. It proves to be quite irritating, and a minor distraction occasionally.

Any specific remedies? I have tried some creams/Vaseline and lotions..they do not soothe at all; sometimes these creams worsen the itchy, burning sensation.

PS -

1. I don't wear spectacles. Thus friction due to speck-frame is ruled out.

2. My facial skin is fairly smooth; slightly on the oilier side. Get a few blackheads occasionally. No acne, pimples.

Try putting the lotions on before you start exercising or playing a sport. You probably have sweat dermatitis. You aren't allergic to your sweat but it brings out the things you are allergic to because it makes your clothes wet, for example.

Sweating can also be the trigger for an allergy.

Reply:That area is where your sinus tracts are located. HAving pain or sensitivity in that area could mean you have allergies or a sinus condidion. I know when I am sick and my nose is clogged that area on the bridge on my nose and under my eyes is sore.
