hey. im a 21 yr old female with extremely sensitive skin. its pretty fair and i always burn before i tan. i have acne but not as bad as when i was a teenager. although i still breakout. my skin isnt dry its red and irritated. i cant use face washes with medication in it.. and they must be fragrance free or else ill have an allergic reaction and ill be bright red. ive used something as sensitive as Cetaphil twice a day with no acne products afterwards and even that irritated my skin. especially when i take a shower... anyways i was wondering if i had rosceca.. and if not what can i use for my skin? i need a face wash, toner, and lotion for the MOST sensitive skin.. im rarely completely white.. my skin is usually looking red or at least pinkish at times..=/
Extremely sensitive skin?
If you have sensitive skin, do not use facial washes or soap; instead use a light, hypoallergenic cleansing lotion. Use a moisturizer to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants. Make sure you use an non perfumed moisturizer, which will not irritate your skin.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co...
Reply:Sounds like Rosacea, usually Drs will prescribe a pill for that or could be treated wtih a laser. The laser will be more effective. For the dry Skin, try Eucerin Cream or Aquaphor. Any dermatologist will recommend those lotions :)
Reply:Use LESS not more chemicals. Any thing you put on your skin is absorbed in your body. I too have very sensitive skin.
check out your laundry soap, remember you wash your towels and pillowcases in it also. Use a Free and Clear type available in most all brands. I use zest bath soap, i use ponds dry skin cream all over, Soak in a tub with Epsom salt to relieve dry skin. Stay out of the sun You pay for that tan later on. why do you think all the beauty queens are using botox now.?
