I was born with sensitive skin, so I've lived with sensitive my whole life. What are the cons of having sensitive skin? Does this mean that I can get wrinkles or age faster?
Does having sensitive skin mean that I can easily get wrinkles or age faster?
no its actually the opposite
Reply:Si, well, not really having very light skin will make you age faster.
lol peace
Reply:Just take care of it well!! every one's is different so pay attention to it closely
Reply:No. Just means you are sensitive to certain products and have to be careful what you use on your skin. It won't age you faster. The best thing you can do to stop wrinkles is use sunscreen.
Reply:No,lighter skin won't make you age faster, nor will sensitive skin.
Reply:no. but it may be prone to skin allergy
Reply:wrinkles or age faster %26gt; No way.
It is more or less like allergy
Reply:You know oddly ive found that i appear to be aging alot slower than i should im 23 yet i pass for 16
Reply:Not at all! I do to some degree, and a friend of mine does very much. The benefits are that we take much better care of our skin, and now, at the ripe old age of 30, I still (annoyingly) get ID'd at bars while my mid 20 something year old sun worshiping friends don't. Love it hon - embrace it!
Reply:Answer #2 is right, if you have light skin it makes you age faster. Stay away from the sun. A few years ago I saw this program about how harmful the sun is, an image I will never forget. They showed a monk (stayed indoors most of his life) and a lady (she has worked outside most of her life selling fruits at a stand) both were 80s. His skin was like that of a baby's bottom, and her's was very damaged. I keep away from the sun as much as I can.
Reply:Well, in my opinion, the only 'con' of having sensitive skin is that it may put you off using products on your face in case of reaction, which in turn could cause you to neglect your skin, hence causing premature ageing.
However, just having sensitive skin doesn't necessarily mean you will get wrinkles or age any quicker than someone with normal skin. It really depends on your lifestyle (eg, if you smoke, if you are a sun worshiper etc) as to how quickly your skin will age.
There are quite a few product houses that do good ranges for sensitive skin. One of my favorites is the 'Elemis' range so try them out if you can!
Hope this helps!
