Major skin problem...please help!..way too sensitive?

Please help…I have very very sensitive skin, whenever I shave…I end up with ingrown hair, bumps, pimples and a whole lot of unwanted redness on my face…I have tried many things...I have spent alot of money and time..…nothing has worked so far…These flaws usually end up as scars… so in addition to the above mentioned problems I have scars too….Does anyone know anything that will clear up my skin…nothing too strong please… it usually ends up causing more problems… Thanks

Major skin problem...please help!..way too sensitive?
My husband shave his face after he gets shower, because after a shower skin becomes warm and hair soft. So shave after a shower, when you are done, wait a while and use a shaving splash (if you using it). Try, it will work.
Reply:You have razor bumps. The Army orders the following to soldiers with that problem: You need to stop shaving, give the bumps a chance to heal, then start over, shaving every day so that the hair does not grow long enough to curl and become ingrown, which causes the bumps. That means a beard for a while. If that is a problem with school or work dress code, you can probably get a doctor to write an excuse ordering that you let it grow to heal the problem.
Reply:Laser hair removal.
Reply:sounds like pseudofolliculitis barbae.

any skin color can get it. the hair grows on you face at angle greater than 90 degrees in relation to the skin's surface. when you shave, the hair cuts at an angle and leaves a microscopic point that the hair grows towards, driving that point back itno the skin and creating anything from irritation to infection. multiply this by the number of affected pores on your face and you know what you're dealing with. the best treatment is not shaving. a dermatologist can often give you a waiver for work.

another solution is shaving powder, but i cant

recommend it especially with sensitive skin

a man goes to his family doctor

and the doctor says

"hi jim, how can i help you today?"

jim replies:

"doc, when i wave my arm around like this, i

get a sharp shooting pain. what do you think i should do?"

to which the doctor replies:

"stop waving your arm around like that!

you can pay nancy on your way out"

Reply:Well since I dont have any pimples or anything.Just clean ure face use lotion, if u could use baby lotion it's soft and I think it will help.
Reply:there is a cream available (it is italian but lots of barber shops import it) called Porasso and it will soften the bristles before you shave - afterwards moisturize! I have sensitive skin and did not moisturize for fear of it making me breakout more - now that I moisturize I don't have near the amount of irritation and breakouts that I had before.

Good luck
