Help with shaving sensitive skin?

My skin overall is kind of dry but not really that sensitive, but when I shave my legs I ALWAYS get cuts. I soak my legs in hot water to make them softer, i use shaving cream, soap, and tried veet hair removal stuff which i hated because it made my skin red and rashy. I tried every kind of razor and half of them don't even give you a long lasting shave. But every time, my legs seriously get little nicks and red dots on them and bleed and i do it slow, i just really don't understand it. Sorry for typing so much, haha if you have any help i would really appreciate it, thanks!

Help with shaving sensitive skin?
There's a 3 step process listed on the webpage link below. This works really great for me!

1. Run your legs under warm, not hot water. Using a washcloth, gently wash your legs with soap. Rinse.

2. Use the Pre-shaving Scrub recipe listed on the site. It's easy to make, smells amazing and works even better! Gently massage all over legs. Rinse.

3. Slather on some shaving cream/gel. Shave with a good razor, like Venus Breeze(which actually doesn't need cream and you can barely feel the razor!) or Shick Quatrro, a less expensive option.

Finish with the Olive Lotion recipe for a soothing, nourishing end.

Hope this helps you!

I hope this helps you!
Reply:I bet you didnt know Hairy legs were in style
Reply:Try to use some baby oil after you shave
Reply:first DO NOT soak them in hot water i repeat DO NOT! it will only make them more dry, trust me. Instead use lotion. Next time you shave use a clean, new razor that's specifically made for sensitive skin ( I like Venus) and I know this sounds strange at first but shave with lotion! it really works and makes your legs uber-soft! =) good luck!
Reply:I have this same issue...I use VEET to shave my legs. It is a creme that you apply to your legs and you then use a

"razor" that comes w/ the VEET. You let the creme set on you legs for about 5 mintues..then "shave" it off. It works great and does not smell bad. Also, then apply lotion. Hope this helps!!...Also, use a little bit of olive oil on your legs after you shower...it makes your skin smooth.
